Budget and payment model
What is daily budget?
The daily budget is the amount of money you allow us to distribute between ad units during a day in exchange for a share of their impressions. Note that AADS is not a pay-per-impression or pay-per-click advertising network: traffic volume and price are not fixed and depend on supply and demand.PopularWhat are the advertising fees?
We retain 20% of the money that our advertisers spend. The rest of the money is distributed between our publishers. Some readersWhat is max CPM?
CPM means cost per mille (cost per a thousand) impressions. It's counted like: Max CPM means you're not ready to pay higher CPM for the traffic. So max CPM is the maximum price you're prepared to pay for the traffic. It doesn't mean that your actual CPM will equal your max CPM, although it's possible. You might want to set a different max CPM. It can be done at https://aads.com/campaigns/YOURCAMPAIGNID/paymentmodel/edit, where your aFew readersWhat is the total budget?
"Total budget" limits how much money the campaign can spend. If the limit is specified, the total amount of funds spent by the campaign will not exceed it. Let's say you want to spend a total budget of 1 BTC in 10 days. In this case, you need to set the "Daily budget" to 1 BTC / 10 days = 0.1 BTC or more and the "Total budget" to 1 BTC. When the campaign spends 1 BTC, it will stop. To resume the campaign, you must increase the total budget or leave the field empty to disable the limit.Few readersWhat is the minimum daily budget I can set?
You can set any daily budget, that seems reasonable to you. The only limitation is technical: budgets less than 121 satoshis won’t be spent, but note that the amount would have an impact on the connected ad units, expected clicks, and impressions. We recommend setting a daily budget higher than 0.00001 BTC because our algorithms' rounding errors and probabilistic nature might not be spent or could be spent without a result. Just mind checking the traffic estimations when you set a daily budgeFew readersWhat daily budget is needed?
First of all, it’s needed to understand our main payment scheme — CPD (daily budget): Advertisers set targeting parameters and specify a daily budget — the amount of money they want to spend daily. We sum up all the money spent by advertisers on targeted traffic and give each campaign a share of impressions proportional to its spending. So, actually, spending depends on your expected results. Another possible reason might be that your daily budget is too low. Campaigns with a daily budget of less than 0.00000100 won't spend. Sometimes our advertisers are unhappy because they see incredibly high bounce rates for AADS traffic. Tracking systems might show a bounce rate of up to 99%, while the bounce rate for other networks might be something like 25 - 70%. This difference is since AADS is not a pay-per-click network: advertisers pay a fixed daily budget and get a share of all the targeted traffic. Since advertisers don’t pay for clicks, there is no need to filter them. Wrong clicks may increase the bounce rate, but thFew readersHow do I optimize my traffic?
