How to Track Your Campaign Results at AADS: Everything You Need to Know

Goal Tracking in AADS

Goal tracking in AADS allows advertisers to analyze traffic and optimize campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, Voluum, AdsBridge, PeerClick, or Binom. AADS automatically adds a dynamic tracking suffix to your ad links to identify campaigns and ad units. You can customize the suffix as needed, keeping the {{partner}} macro. Use performance data to filter low-quality traffic, focus on top-performing sources, and request additional traffic through AADS support.


Most, or all of our tracking tokens are self-explanatory but for elaboration and easy understanding the following article will briefly explain the values of the tokens.


Goal Tracking Integration with Google Analytics (GA)

Integrate AADS goal tracking with Google Analytics to measure campaign performance and ROI. Requirements: a hosted website, GA account, AADS account, and an AADS campaign with goal tracking enabled.

Setup:

  • Enable goal tracking in your AADS campaign.
  • Add a UTM suffix to track performance: ?utm_source=A-ADS&utm_medium=Banner&utm_campaign=MyCampaignName&utm_term={{partner}}
  • Monitor clicks and traffic data in GA under Acquisition → Campaigns, using utm_term to identify ad units.

Goal Tracking Integration with Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

GA4 is the newer version of Google Analytics with a different dashboard structure and reporting format. Setup is similar to GA, but some metrics and dimensions require custom reports.

Setup:

  • Enable goal tracking in your AADS campaign.
  • Add a UTM suffix: ?utm_source=AADS&utm_medium=Banner&utm_campaign=MyCampaignName&utm_term={{partner}}
  • View data in GA4 under Advertising → All Channels. Track dimensions like source, medium, campaign, and utm_term for ad units.

Advanced Tracking with PeerClick

Integrate AADS with PeerClick, a free real-time ad tracking platform, to optimize and scale campaigns.

Setup:

  1. Create a traffic source using the AADS template.
  2. Create an offer with URL and name.
  3. Create a campaign linking the traffic source and offer; enable direct linking.
  4. Copy the campaign tracking info from PeerClick.
  5. Configure your AADS campaign with the PeerClick URL and goal tracking suffix.
  6. Check PeerClick reports for traffic sources, devices, browsers, and performance.

AADS can integrate with AdsBridge, a platform for affiliates and media buyers, to optimize campaigns.

Setup:

  1. Create a traffic source in AdsBridge, keeping {{partner}} in place.
  2. Create an offer and optionally a landing page.
  3. Create a campaign and get the AdsBridge campaign link.
  4. Enable goal tracking in your AADS campaign and add the AdsBridge link or tokens as the suffix.
  5. Monitor performance in AdsBridge reports (tokens 1–6).

Integrate AADS with Voluum, a real-time analytics platform for performance marketers.

Setup:

  1. Create a traffic source in Voluum using the AADS template.
  2. Create an offer element and optionally a landing page.
  3. Create a campaign linking the traffic source and offer.
  4. Configure your AADS campaign, enable goal tracking, and use the partner={{partner}} token.
  5. For redirect tracking, set the AADS campaign URL as the Voluum campaign URL, excluding the “?” and everything after.

AADS can integrate with Binom, an affiliate tracker for campaign management.

Setup:

  1. Create a traffic source in Binom using the AADS template, keeping {{partner}} in Token 1.
  2. Create an offer and optionally a landing page.
  3. Create a campaign linking the traffic source and offer.
  4. Configure your AADS campaign, enable goal tracking, and add the Binom campaign URL and tokens as the suffix.
  5. Monitor campaign performance in Binom via the “Stats” section.
