What's the Difference Between Site and Affiliate Ad Unit Types?
Most of our ad units are of the "Site" type. These units are used for banners integrated into site code and displayed on websites. We can monitor the quality of the traffic generated by these ad units, so they typically earn more if they pass the quality check.
The "Affiliate" type is intended for ad units that are not meant to display advertisements. They exist solely as accounts within our network and are used to generate affiliate links, allowing you to earn fees from campaigns created through these links. For example, if you don't have a website, mobile app, or browser extension, but your neighbor needs advertising, you can create an affiliate ad unit, provide your neighbor with the link, and when he creates a campaign, you earn half of his fees.
Additionally, "Site" ad units can also be used to create affiliate links.
